Description

Eata Silicon supplies a low-VOC C6 fluorinated finishing emulsion that improves release of oily soils after home laundering without requiring flammable solvents.

Basic Information

Chemical Name	C6 fluorinated specialty polyester emulsion
Appearance	Milky-white to pale-yellow emulsion.
Features and Benefits	Improves soil release after domestic laundering, has low VOC content, and is supplied as a nonflammable aqueous emulsion. Stir before use if settling or separation is observed.
Usage Instructions	Apply by a one-dip, one-nip process and adjust the finishing bath to pH 4–5. Suggested wet pickup is 30–50% for polyester woven fabric and 50–70% for cotton woven fabric.
Recommended Use Level	Polyester woven fabric: 20–40 g/L with 5–10 g/L of compatible crosslinker when required. Cotton woven fabric: 40–60 g/L with 10–15 g/L of compatible crosslinker.
Packaging	120 L plastic containers.
Storage Conditions	Store at 5–30°C. Stir thoroughly before use if separation occurs.
Shelf Life	6 months.
pH	2.0–5.0 as supplied.
Solid Content	14–16%, measured after 3 hours at 130°C.
Curing Conditions	Polyester: approximately 170°C for 1 minute. Cotton: approximately 165°C for 2–3 minutes.
